ClickCrafter Playtest: Patch Notes for 0.2.3

Thanks to everyone who has joined ClickCrafter’s first playtest so far!

The playtest’s first patch is now live, and includes some great catches by our playtesters (and two small, but meaningful additions):

  • Players who continue playing after the “Thanks for Playtesting!” message should no longer find that the Smelter hologram crashes their game
  • Left Click can now progress dialogue along with Right Click, Spacebar, Enter keys; or South / East face buttons on controller
  • Settings menu tabs can be clicked to navigate to their section
  • Audio mixer volume now sets properly in built version of game
  • Added another Purrplecat track as main menu music
  • Add Unity Analytics (opt-in) for help gathering player data

The feedback so far has been fantastic, and it’s been incredibly heartening to see how many people think this game has some “juice” to it! Keep the notes coming, and hopefully the second part of ClickCrafter’s island will be open for playtesting soon…

PS — and yes, the upgrade/unlocks requiring 200 of something were intentionally set that high! they will be coming down to useable levels soon, promise 😉
